What really happened to Lou Dobbs?
Considering that the source for the information in this article is MEDIA MATTERS may taint it a tad, but other sources seem to confirm the veracity of the reasoning behind Lou Dobbs sudden exit from CNN.
I often use MEDIA MATTERS as a source that is generally reliable, but I have strongly disagreed with the way they monitor and target certain personalities in an effort to get them canned (something a MEDIA MATTERS monitor did the day Imus made his ‘nappy headed ho’s’ comment). Update: The smart money bet seems to be on Dobbs joining FOX NEWS (what a surprise!) on their regular or business channel, adding to their roster of extremist nut jobs, or seeking political office, a sure fire career killer that would take millions out of his pocket, assuming he is so far gone as to risk financial security to lose some election somewhere.
